A variety of other activities are available from each of our villages for non-divers or for divers between dives or on a non-diving day.

Yoga at Marsa Shagra

We now have our very own resident yoga instructor in Marsa Shagra and dedicated 'Yoga Shala' providing the perfect environment for your yoga practice. Group sessions are offered daily at sunrise and sunset, with the option to schedule private sessions at other times. Whether you have been practicing yoga for years or have never tried it before you are welcome to join us at your own level and pace.

Yoga is not just about stretching and calming the mind, it’s also about strengthening our body. For scuba divers, movement is as essential as our breathing, and diving can sometimes be a physically demanding activity. Therefore, maintaining good general health is an important part of being a diver and to find the oneness of body, mind and soul. The physical postures, asanas, in Yoga help you strengthen your body, tone up internal organs and fascia, which reduces the risk of injuries as well as preventing over-exertion.

We also welcome yoga instructors who wish to bring their own groups and use our space.
