This year we have made extensive renovations to Wadi Lahami which we are excited to share with you.
Air conditioning in all chalets
Following a long awaited electricity upgrade in the village we have now installed air conditioning in all chalets. The summer nights are now much more pleasant in a chalet, letting you wake up fresh and ready for a day's diving or kiting (or both!).
Extended and renovated restaurant area
We have extended our kitchen to allow us to install better kitchen facilities for preparing your meals. Chef Hany and Moustafa are now even better equipped to ensure you eat well between dives or kiting sessions. The restaurant terrace is now larger and more spacious, with a new shade and covered area for when we serve buffet meals.
New speedboats and diving shade
Two brand new speedboats have arrived in Wadi Lahami to make your diving experience more comfortable. With twin 100 Yamaha four stroke engines, you can now reach the dive sites more quickly and quietly, and with less environmental impact. The new speedboats have ladders for easier exit from the water and once we have properly tested these ladders we will be installing them on all speedboats. We also plan to install shades on all speedboats for more comfort during surface intervals. The diving shade has been completely rebuilt and extended with individual lockers and plenty of space for all guests to store all their equipment.
Following your feedback we have further plans to improve the Wadi Lahami experience over the coming months with the aim of keeping it small and secluded but also improving the experience. Stay tuned for more news about what is happening in Wadi Lahami.
