We would like to thank everyone who entered our video competition for the July - December 2017 period!
Unfortunately Jeff Goodman is no longer able to be our judge for the competition, but our videography workshop leader David Diley has stepped in and has kindly agreed to judge the competition from now on!
Huge congratulations to Tim Kjell for his video 'Training Eco Divers' which has won him a free stay at the RSDS village of his choice!
The standard was very high and during this period we received a lot of entries which made the judging very hard. Here are David’s comments about the winning video:
This is nice! There's some lovely footage in here, great music choice, there's personality and energy but most importantly, I can tell you've thought about what you're shooting, how you've shot it and the edit is nice and tight, no shot lingers too long and the finished video really benefits from that. It's a good length too, the video doesn't outstay its welcome. Great job!
