Our videography workshop leader David Diley has chosen the winner for this competition round.
Huge congratulations to Radka Bodnarova for her video ‘Amazing Marsa Shagra’ which has won her a free stay at the RSDS village of her choice!
Here is David's feedback about all the videos:
Marsa Nakari Village – Some nice colourful footage, one suggestion I have s to try to avoid overusing the transitions o much if you want a more high end feel to your videos
Night Dives in Marsa Shagra – Shagra is a great reef to night dive! I like how you’ve included the topside footage at sundown as well, it’s a good introduction to a nice video
One Happy Week in Wadi Lahami Camp – Some really nice footage here and well edited too. You’ve captured the scenery and marine life really well!
One Happy Dive With Dugong – A lovely encounter which you’ve captured really well, you have some great shots in this video!
School of Indian Mackerel – I would try to break this down into more shots as there’s some issues with stability and focus. I love Indian Mackerel, always like to see footage of them
Red Sea Magic – I like how you’ve included plenty of shots of divers as it helps make the viewer feel as though they are part of the dive with you. Good job!
Amazing Marsa Shagra – You’ve captured a nice variety of shots in here and combined them with some lovely photos. You’ve obviously put a lot of thought into this. Good job!
