Video Competition Results! July - December 2020
We would like to thank everyone who entered our video competition for the July - December 2020 period!
Our videography workshop leader David Diley has chosen the winner for this competition round.
Huge congratulations to Adam Svancar for his video ‘A single day in Marsa Shagra’ which has won him a free stay at the RSDS village of his choice!

Stunning Whale Shark at Marsa Shagra – So lucky to have such a great encounter and you’ve captured it really well!
Red Sea Diving Safari 2020 – There’s some nice shots in this and some interesting ideas which make it a bit different to other videos. I liked it!
Dauphins Marsa Shagra Oct 2020 – What a lovely encounter and you’ve captured some nice shots! Good music choice too
Anemone Magic – It would have been nice with some music in there and try mixing it up with some static shots to go with the movement
Napoleon Wrasse Majestic Encounter – A lovely closeup of this amazing specimen!
November 2019 Trip to Marsa Shagra – A nice trip around the North Reef with some nice shots of the marine life
JC’s Deep Blue – A nice informative video and I like the fact you’ve gone down a more educational route. The split shot of the bird at the start is brilliant! Don’t be afraid to raise the levels on your voiceover though, it’s way too quiet!
The Red Sea – A great selection of marine life!
Marsa Shagra 10.2020 – Some nice shots, especially the turtles. Good job!
Longing For The Underwater Beauties of Marsa Shagra – There’s some really nice shots in this, I especially like the turtle lying on the coral and the dolphins
Divers Direct From Prague Visiting – I like the personal side to this, some nice footage, lots of smiling faces, punchy edit… Great job!
Hammerheads Dance at Elphinstone – A great encounter well captured!
