This year it was Marsa Nakari's turn for the Reef Check surveys. Within 4 days, the team which was led by our team scientist, Stephan Moldzio was able to carry out surveys at 5 different dive spots which were:
- Marsa Assalai North
- Shaab Nakari north-east
- Marsa Nakari House Reef North
- Marsa Nakari House Reef South
- Marsa Gabel El Rosas
Also this year Dr. Ahmed M. Shawky joined the team for a few days and gave an interesting presentation on site about photo identification of the Oceanic Whitetip Shark.
A big thank you to all participants who took the time during their vacation to participate in the surveys which are very important to us in monitoring the health of our coral reefs.
