Congratulations again to Michael, and good luck to all those participating in 2020!
From Paul Duxfield, our competition judge:
I normally tend to go for wide angle shots in the main, Ive mentioned before that they tell the story of diving and the underwater world. And we had some strong contenders with a couple of lovely shark pictures from Christophe and Rob, and a great story telling picture from Timon with the freediver and dolphins.
Also worth a mention is the fab black and white turtle shot, full of texture and contrast from Rico.
However the winner this month is going to a very well observed behavioural macro shot from Michael Tonsing. It shows perfectly the symbiosis of the cleaner shrimp and the patient Anthias that it is carefully cleaning.
Marvellous and well done Michael, a well-deserved winner this month.
