On 22nd April Red Sea Diving Safari joined over a billion other people worldwide to support the 43rd Anniversary of Earth Day. The theme this year was ‘The Face of Climate Change’.
We organized an event in each of our villages to involve our staff and guests, including a desert cleanup in Marsa Shagra, two underwater cleanups in Marsa Nakari and a cleanup of the beach and mangrove area in Wadi Lahami. Altogether there were two whole truckloads of rubbish which were sent to be sorted and recycled.
We would like to thank HEPCA for their support in this event, for providing bags, banners and for collecting all the rubbish from us. We would also like to thank the large number of enthusiastic guests who joined us for the day.
You can see the full collection of photos from the events in our flickr album.
